From the Hunter Valley to Tasmania, from the Barossa to Margaret River and everything in between, Ryan’s experience as a wine buyer and distributor specialising in Australian & New Zealand wine and wine makers is hard to beat. He’s bringing six of his favourite wines from every corner to Good Neighbour this May.
We will be trying some truly excellent wines including a Nautilus Cuvee Sparkling from Marlborough, the Brokenwood Semillon from Hunter Valley, our favourite Tasmanian wine makers Dalrymple with their own beautiful Chardonnay. We're also going to the Barossa Valley to try the Yalumba Bush Vine Grenache and the Jim Barry McRae Wood Shiraz from Clare Valley. We'll be ending the night with a Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River.
At the end of the tasting there will be a vote for the favourite wine with the winner added to the Good Neighbour Wine List.
Guildford-based Annabel Allum plays the first of a series of acoustic gigs at Good Neighbour. Much loved by BBC Radio 6, she is by turns invigoratingly caustic and charmingly lackadaisical, her ability to marry folk-style storytelling with snarling fuzzy indie has won her many fans.
She's been supporting the iconic Beth Ditto across her UK/EU tour at the back end of last year, as well as sharing the stage with Nadine Shah, Blaenavon and more.
